Recruiting judges for GVRSF 2026 |
Dear all,
It is that time of year again! For those who have judged in our previous fairs, thank you, and for those who have not, thank you for reading this. To all of you though, we need your help again this year to judge the 2026 Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair. This year’s fair will be entirely in-person on April 9th in the UBC Nest. As usual, there will be two sessions, one from 1:30 to 5 pm and the 2nd from 5:30 to 8:30. If you can make it to one, the other, or both, we need you! If you are willing and able to help us, please sign up here. A few notes:
- There will be a bagged meal available in between the two sessions, if you are able to be there for that.
- Details for the whole fair can be found here.
- If you are representing a company or organization where you will be judging for an award sponsored by your organization, that judging will happen in the 2nd round. You are still welcome to help with divisional judging in the 1st round, too, if you can make it!
- We have noticed that a few of you signed up for this year in last year’s form so, if that was you, please do sign up again in this form.
- The Qualtrics system we are using to collect your information does NOT send you a confirmation email but you should get a message on your screen confirming that your responses have been recorded after you submit.
- We will be following up with another email with additional information near the beginning of April
This is not an exclusive e-mail so if you have colleagues that are also interested in contributing then please pass this along. Our only requirement is that judges should have at least a Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in some discipline of science or engineering. If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
